Crow-stepped gables, fleche and cupola of Pollokshaws Burgh Hall on the southside of Glasgow. Designed by Robert Rowand Anderson in the Scots Renaissance style and constructed in the 1890s, it reproduces details from now-lost Old College buildings on High Street.

I've visited and photographed Pollokshaws Burgh Hall several times, but today was the first time I noticed this fearsome little fellow tucked under the sill of one of the rear windows.
