#polybridge using only three hydraulics is in fact cheaper but, weirdly, not by much. because the entire bridge has to be braced together, you can't go nearly as cheap on the trusses

this is the best i was able to get at $27,214

i know it looks like there's still way more to save on the trusses (believe me, i'd have loved to shave another $267 and get this in half budget) but the balance is so delicate that even the smallest changes to weight cause the joints to not click in after hydraulic phases

I've optimized the level "Flying Leaps" as far as I can, and it's good for second on the global leaderboard for lowest stress. Seriously. Second place. I didn't think I'd be getting on the first page of the leaderboard, and yet... 🥈

There is something very satisfying about optimizing a bridge for low stress, rather than to try and save every dollar possible.

This design got me to 11th place on the global leaderboard, at 36.42% stress. I can't figure out how the designs ahead of me knocked even more off, but I'm super happy with the result.
