The vendor for the new #swiss #polycom basestations (police radio) had an issue with their software not being able to work and adhere to an ITU-T standard operation mode and limitations for e.g. measurements to assure proper, vendor neutral, operations synchronizing ToD with PTP for τ(s). So they defined their own standard and now push something no router/hardware vendor in the known universe except them developes for. Thats one for the courts I bet.

Cannot figure out how to place a call on hold and page when using a Polycom VVX 450. When you have an active call or place the call on hold, the "Paging" soft-key disappears.

This basically means if someone calls, and you need to page someone, you can't do it. On our old Nortel PBX, you just placed them on hold, made the page, then picked them back up.

This #polycom sat unprovisioned on my wall for a decade until today, when I set up an #asterisk server and trunked it to #sdf. Hopeful that the 0200 conferences actually happen.
