I'm stuck today with one of my late wife's tools, and I need help. The machine is a 4-thread serger with an automatic air-pressure threading system that requires the thread be initially be inserted 2cm into a small hole. The thread in the machine is polyester, and frays immediately when cut. The frayed end will NOT go into the hole. I've tried oil, water, and heat to smooth/stiffen it, all with no luck. Suggestions please!
