Unacceptable horrors have been committed 33 years ago to 13 women that were studying in STEM and 1 working at Polytechnique.

There is nothing that can be done to bring those lives back. And as a society, we have a duty not only to remember them, but to also ensure that such atrocities never happen again.

It’s December 6th. Do your children know the significance of today’s date? I don’t know that mine do. We are going to talk about it today.
Today we remember a brutal attack on women just for being women. That attack happened over 30 years ago, but women are still facing violence just because they are women. This is happening all around the world and it’s happening next door. We need to remember #polytechniquemontreal but we need to figure out how to stop doing this. #Misogony
