I’ve not done a Welly Wednesday photo in ages and now I can’t remember the hashtag ( #WellyWednesday maybe? 😂) anyway…
I took this last week while walking back to my car and didn’t realise the phone had done its dark / light thingy. I like it. It looks spoooooky.
Also adding one of the cable car at night because it’s cool.

Before I #donate them, does anyone in #Pōneke want two single IKEA foam mattresses with washable cotton covers? Very good condition.
I can possibly deliver them if needed.
I also have some black leather German ex-army boots that have been re-soled in a size Eu40/US8.
Let me know before tomorrow afternoon as they’ll be with Mary Potter by then.

Local #Pōneke people: what is it that is making that stretch of SH1 where it meets #Ngauranga Gorge smell so disgusting? If you’ve experienced it, you’ll know what I mean.
It’s raining and foggy in #Pōneke so obviously the correct way to drive is:
• at high speeds so you can screech-drift around every corner
• with no lights on so other drivers cannot see you
• tailgate everyone
• ignore any obvious hazards and overtake inappropriately even when you can’t see what’s coming the other way.
What you do in the shadows is cause a damn accident! Complete wingnuts, the lot of ‘em.
Trying to figure out if I have the spoons to put together a monthly COVID-safe #Pōneke #writers group again.
I miss Well-Written and the people I met. I mostly miss having a crit group and a designated writing day.
I could hire the Upper Chamber at Toi Pōneke again for around $35 an hour. It’s big, high ceilings and has plenty windows to open. Plus I have air purifiers. I dunno… would people even be interested?
Looking at it again, it's actually not a bad list. Pretty good for #families in #Wellington #Pōneke region wondering what to do over the summer holidays.
#Pōneke peeps: I'm thinking about clearing out my Craft Stash, but not sure where best to donate things?
