I have tried to generate Pong game in #Lua using #Love2d engine.
It didn't work out of the box due to:
- not using new() to
instantiate Class:new() it created
- prepending local to variables that are used globally in all classes
After fixing that it worked. It also added scoring system when I asked afterwards.

El otro día en el 30 day videogame challenge hablé de una máquina de Pong que no recordaba bien. ¡Pues la he encontrado! No recuerdo haber jugado nunca, por eso. Lo gracioso es que no tiene conectores: mi padre dice que se conecta con la tele inalámbricamente (supongo que debe tener un emisor interno de canal de TV o algo) y se alimenta con una pila de petaca.
No sé si funciona. Dudo que funcione en una tele moderna. #retro #retrogaming #pong

Outside, was a “screen” and two large buttons to push. Inside, a tiny flashlight on an arm attached to a mechanism that would bounce from one side to the other once turned on, shining the light on the inside of the screen; you would press the lever to make the flashlight bounce to the other side. Fully mechanical #Pong.
