Throughout 2022 191 students in Ponorogo requested early marriage permit to the Religious Court due to pregnancy, 174 were granted. More than 100 were from middle school students, more than 50 from elementary school students. 184 were 15-19 year olds.

The MUI in their boundless wisdom think enforcement of the anti pornography ban will actually reduce sex among teens but research says while pornography can leave long lasting mental and health issues on its viewers, banning it entirely won’t solve the issue because teens will still have sex anyway thanks to hormones. They need proper sex ed but parents are still squeamish.
