My #AlbumOfTheWeek is 1982 album Pookie Beach Party by #Pookiesnackenburger. If you were a student in #London in the early 80s you’ll remember these jokey buskers from #Brighton, retro jazz/music hall/world music often at #CoventGarden (piazza not opera house). Forerunners of #Stomp musical. Loved them. This rough & ready album doesn’t really do justice to their covers of Just One Cornetto, King of the Swingers etc & it has the worst record sleeve ever.
