#APA #PoolLeague today. It was not good. I played two #9ball and one #8ball game. Lost all three.
First one was a close 9-ball game against a player who effectively cheated. He didn't call two fouls on himself that were obvious, but the rules says the last word rests with the shooter so fuck me right?
Second was another close 9-ball game against a much higher ranked player. I felt good about this game.
Finally I got crushed in my 8-ball game because I shot like shit. Think I was just tired.

#APA #PoolLeague today. Got an early start for a make up #8ball game. Went terribly. I lost 2 racks to 0. Spent an hour practicing and it wasn’t better.
Today’s scheduled games started with another 8-ball. I dropped the first rack but won the next 3. Neither of us played well.
Long break before my #9ball game today. Played much better and won a close one against an opponent who consistently plays well against me. She’d been beating me up every time in 9-ball but I took the last two.

#APA #PoolLeague today. I had an excellent day. I played a skill level 5 (I’m a 3) in #9ball to start and beat him (not straight up though). I then played my teammate’s wife twice. First in #8ball where I won 3-0 and earned a #rackless patch. Then again in 9-ball where I beat her 20-0 (team points; not sure how many points she earned from making balks, but very few) and earned a #skunk patch (which is really fucking hard to earn).

#APA #PoolLeague today. Not playing for two weeks showed. My #8ball match was quite possibly the worst 3 racks of play I’ve put together ever. Somehow I won but only because I successfully exploited a glaring weakness in my opponent’s play.
Played the same guy in #9ball. Played better but not by much. He beat me but also not by much.

#APA #PoolLeague today. Only four players so I ended up playing 3 matches. #8ball was first and I played terrible. Lucky for me my opponent was very new to pool so I squeaked out a win. That poor play followed me to my first #9ball match where I lost big. I collected myself before my second 9-ball match and beat a higher ranked player straight up.

#APA #PoolLeague today was not great. First I showed up 2.5 hours early for makeup games from Easter at my captain’s request. I was not used and it was obvious that was going to be the case. I should have been told to come at the regular time. Then for today’s matches. Both #8ball and #9ball were against a much better opponent and I played terribly. I was trounced twice.

#APA #PoolLeague today. Won my #8ball handily as we both played terribly, but I was just a bit less terrible. Split my two #9ball games. Both were within 4 points of going the other way. First was against a skill level down. I won 25-16 (she needed 19) and the other was an even race to 25 that I lost 25-21.
I could not get my magic back from that second #9ball match two weeks ago.

#APA #PoolLeague today. It was a long one as most of the games went about as long as they could. I also ended up playing 3 games. First was a first to 2 racks #8Ball that I won 2 racks to 0. The second was a first to 25 points #9Ball against the same guy. He squeaked out a 25-22 win. 🧵1/2

#APA #PoolLeague today. Missed the last two weeks for reasons so I was rusty. Started with #9Ball in an even 25 point race. Was quickly down 21-6, but came back to lose 25-21. Given my rusty start I am very happy with those results.
For #8Ball I've been so bad this session I dropped to skill level 2 and played a 3 today. He had to win 3 racks to my 2. Carried my 9-ball comeback momentum and won 2-0 earning myself a rackless badge. I'll probably be a 3 again next week. Good pool week.
