Coming back to serious, though: it looks like my ancestors on his side migrated from eastern Saarland (around #Homburg), western Reinland-Pfalz (#Bitburg and #Speicher), eastern Hesse (#Fulda), and western Plzeň (#Pořejov/#Purschau, Tachov district).

They all went to #Pittsburgh, PA's Northside (#Millvale, Troy Hill, and East Allegheny, some via Wexford) in the late 19th century. Some of them are still there.
