My 20 step journey is complete, now comes some harder work for me. I'm ADHD so doing ANYTHING consistently is very difficult.
I'm gonna start a second run through the steps privately but I'll be posting what I'm doing to keep it up (until it becomes my default).
Today I'm going to the beach and my goal is to spend time in an actual bathing suit and learn to be comfortable and confident while doing so.

*This step came at the best time. I hit a mental block yesterday when I was out getting clothes to dress my body affectionately for step 14. Old thoughts popped in, "this would look good on you if you weren't misshapen" Etc. Recently I took shots of myself to help me love the way I am & didn't realize I was doing the mirror work of this step, however, 1 of the pics reminded me of part of my body that's hard for me to love. I have very wide hips with no bum. When my clothes are on my booty looks big but when my clothes are off it's just big hips & a flat booty. I used to work endlessly doing specific exercises to make it look more full but it NEVER did any good. This step speaks to not being able to love parts of our body right away, it's a process (which is fine bcuz β I'm on this journey for the final result! I don't care how hard it's gonna be!) again, I'm being candid in order to fight the shame associated with how we look. #PositiveBodyImage #FatIsNotABadWord
