Spending part of this Sunday afternoon completing meal prep for a week of lunches.
I started with two strip steaks, cooked sous vide to 126 Fahrenheit, and then seared in a hot pan with clarified butter. To accompany the beef, I boiled some potatoes and sauteed some canned corn with a small onion, salt and pepper, and a little fresh grated nutmeg. All of this went into canisters, and I topped the lot with roasted broccoli.
My daily morning exercise routine is going well, and it feels great after too long without consistent exercise. Having healthy homemade meals to enjoy during the work day is another important part of the puzzle.
