Possum matters: Our friend Chewie has had another sleepy day today. She has just had some 🥕 carrot as well as apple. She told me that the #Matildas will beat England tonight. At least that is what she hopes. Off now on possum business even though it is barely dusk.

A happy brushtail enjoying a pear. It's been a really hot day, so I'd say the juicy pear hit the spot. She is now out on possum business, but sure she will be back in her tray by morning.

Chewie the brushtail was back this morning. We had no overnight guests this week but the food I've been leaving out has been eaten every night. It was nice to see her. She's had some apple for tea, firmly said no to carrots and will be heading out for a night of #possum business.

Well our possums are in the doghouse today 🥺. They haven't been around too much the last few nights. However they were back last night & chomped into a brand new fuchsia plant & tried to eat my brand new callistemon I got for #nationaltreeday. Tonight I'll put out something else that I hope gets everybody back on the same playbook. Apple and carrot I think.

So yes they do like callistemons and fushicas. 😊

Got home after dark and Chewie the brushtail was already in the tree eating some berries. She came down to grab some apple before departing again on possum business for the night.

@Littleflick Well maybe I trusted that ringtail too much. Got home from our holiday and found that ringtail in tray 1 had decided to do some renovating. I'll leave it for tonight but will have to tidy it up tomorrow evening. Should have insisted that the brushtail was in charge. 🤣😊

Tonight's possums. The usual airbnb possum with the torn right ear was very happy to eat some carrots. The other one appeared at dusk & isn't into Carrots. It is into apples so it got some apple. Not as tame as our boarder. It took the apple from my hand but then rushed up the tree.
