Artcraft, Artmaster and Fleetwood all made generally similar first day covers, printed from nice engravings. but they also ran huge marketing programs, and sold enormous numbers of First Day Covers, many to folks who otherwise were not really collectors. today, they're a drug on the market. i have a fairly complete set for a couple of decades, from my dad and acquired in large lots over time. they're frequently in dollar boxes, cheaper in bulk. #philately #postalcovers
