After all the crap of today, I still went to the library and got the Post reading group book. It’s difficult to engage in normal things when you can barely breathe. I’m glad I did. So far, Eberhardt has proven just the sort of author for this kind of book. She has a soft but strong writing voice, full of compassion for all involved. It’s a difficult feat to pull off these days.
