Warum muss digitales immer so kompliziert sein?

Ich habe eine "keyring.asc" in der mein privater #PGP Schlüssel steckt und ich auch das Passwort habe. Allerdings verbirgt sich zusätzlich ein uralter #posteo Schlüssel darin, zu dem ich kein Passwort mehr habe. Nun komme ich an keinen heran, weil sich der Inhalt nicht trennen lässt. Ich könnt' 🤮

Ist im Grunde genauso, da es eine eigene Mailadresse ist.
Bei mehreren Alias kostet es allerdings bei Posteo 0,10 EUR pro Alias.
Ich nutze selbst #posteo und möchte dort auch nicht mehr weg … seit Jahren.

Bei #Posteo.de fühle ich mich seit Jahren gut aufgehoben. Seit Jahren keinen Ausfall und keine Anomalie erlebt, also angenehm unauffällig.

Me duelen lo poco flexible de las cuentas en línea para #Gnome. No tengo Google, ni Nextcloud para el jodido calendario. Tengo #Posteo pero no deja meter el calendario "a mano".

@c_th1 @protonmail @Tutanota gefühlt kommt #posteo (zu) schlecht weg:
- das E2EE nicht direkt geht ok, nur mit Addon... aber das wäre doch eher gelb statt rot. (Bei Messengern whatsapp in 'gutem' Kontext zu bringen hat auch 'geschmäckle')
- bei Anonymität und Bezahlung: auch Posteo kann ich bar bezahlen, die Bewertung für mich auch nicht ganz nachvollziehbar

Aus #langeweile mal in der #Adressdatenbank nach Adressen von #posteo , #mailboxorg und #disroot gesucht.
Ergebnis: ca. 7800 Einträge insgesamt, davon 5 Kunden mit vertrauenswürdigen E-Mailadressen.
Krass schlechter Schnitt.

I use #DublinCyclingBuddy and #Citymapper or #AppleMaps for orientation, #ProtonVPN, #Posteo as an email provider, #BlueMail as a client, #KagiSearch, #BearlyAI as an AI tool, #Freeletics for gym, #AppleWeather for checking the conditions, #Cryptomator for secure storage on #iCloud, #Enpass as a password manager, #Orion as a browser, #MonaApp as a Mastodon client, #Pixelfed for photo sharing.

@sfof Aber wie gesagt, ansonsten ist #posteo super. Ich hatte mal einen Bug im Frontend gefunden (bei den Filtern), den haben sie an einem Tag behoben.

@sfof Ja, übesichtlich ist es schon. Aber eben extrem lahm, etwas mehr Ajax oder eine Single-Page-Applikation wäre schon etwas zeitgemäßer. Theoretisch sollte es auch kein so großes Problem sein, einen Großteil der Views (z.B. e-Mail preview Ansicht) zumindest auf Ajax umzustellen. Schade, dass die das Frontend nicht #Opensource machen bzw. freigeben, sonst würde ich da helfen. #posteo

@sfof Meine Frau hat einen Pro Account bei #gmx. Ich glaube, das funktioniert ganz gut mit der Spam detection bzw. White-list erstellen. Ich bin bei #posteo, funktioniert auch ganz gut. Das Webinterface ist nur schrecklich veraltet, wenn man so etwas braucht. Man könnte sich eine neue Mailadresse zulegen und die Mails automatisch von t-online weiterleiten lassen.

Überlege schon einige Zeit komplett von #Posteo zu #Tutanota zu wechseln.

I've Prime Video at €50 per year (can't afford much more), 'cause I need to show things in Japanese language to my half-Japanese kid, and there aren't much Japanese DVDs in Italy. I probably need to switch to Disney+...
And to this, add €1 per month for the nice #Posteo service.
Nothing more.
Then I've the Koofr lifetime subscription plus I've bought the one-time licences for @cryptomator and @cyberduck for Koofr.
I wanted to pay for the nice #IlPost Italian online news but can't afford. 😰
