The theme of exclusion is central to #EarlyModern studies, especially in crucial work being done on #CriticalRaceStudies, #gender, marginal identities, & violence. This #postgraduate conference shares the scholarly commitment to #decolonise the early modern field & to recover excluded & oppressed voices.

I am delighted to now be a CO-I on the project "Droned Life: Data, Narrative, and Aesthetics of Worldmaking", investigating the politics and ethics of drone proliferation in fields such as war, art, humanitarianism, and ecology.

We're looking for a Research Associate who can engage in research related to the project and help shape the new Centre for Drones and Culture at Cambridge.

Looks like #ChatGPT usage could already be widespread with this report suggesting 10 out of 54 #postgraduate submissions for one assessment contained "significant detectable bot activity" - looks like a very busy year ahead for those of us chairing academic misconduct hearings...
