Perfect Lives is a 1983 Robert Ashley television opera about bank robbery, cocktail lounges, geriatric love, adolescent elopement, etc., set in the American Midwest. I came across this remastered HD copy from David Grubbs and it's far more watchable than the older, grainy (until recently only) version floating around the internet.
