I'd like to discuss #Postmodernism with someone. I'm trying to figure out what I think about it. #InfiniteJest, #GravitysRainbow, #SlaughterhouseFive are among my favorite books, if that means anything.
A lot of these descriptions fit me:
"epistemological relativism, moral relativism, pluralism, irony, irreverence, and eclecticism." I think those are good traits, but I have a creeping sense that something is missing...
Maybe I am a #Postmodernist who is slowly inching toward something else?

In meany ways it is hopless talking to people who have grown up during the #postmodernist era as they have no way of understanding groups in a social sense, so they #block all communication from this modernist framework. You literally are not allowed to talk to them and will be blocked by their social media account.

This is VERY bad dogmatic behaver, we have to somehow compost. Ideas please?

My polemical take on this is 99.9% of the #postmodernist and western #Buddhists I have meet and worked with have been at best a waste of space and at worst nasty and destructive... on a less polemical view, yes dogmatic "no such thing as reality" is likely the problem.

The current communication fail is in part due to suffering from a #postmodernist problem of nobody agreeing on what anything means, which makes it difficult to do anything outside mostly #mainstreaming narrow viewpoints.

@kat my expirence being at the hart of 30 years of affective grassroots social challenge/change movements, is that people who push #postmodernist agenders are both useless to the movements and oftern directly distructive to the movements.

It's well past time to try other world views.
