Ich nutze seit Jahren einen #Prepaid-Tarif von #otelo (war zuvor mal #EdekaMobil im #Vodafone-Netz). Seit Jahren versucht mich otelo zu einem Wechsel in einen #Postpaid-Vertrag zu überreden. Mal abgesehen davon, dass ich kein Freund von Laufzeitverträgen bin: Solange bei einem Umstellung dies gilt, ist otelo chancenlos:

Don't know if our network providers here can/will do that.

Anyway, I've long ditched #postpaid plans. All my numbers are #prepaid now. I limit my spending that way. It's more foolproof than setting a credit limit. 😁

@Privacymatters Same happens in #Sweden where #prepaid #simcard​s have to be registered to not be cut off by March 2023. As usual, the argument is that it is done to "fight #crime" as you can get them and refill them with #anonymous #cash.
#Postpaid (#subscription-based) are obviously all registered already for billing reasons.
