Rough activation this morning. Most QSOs on 20m. 6th #CW #POTA Activation. Used the #ATS3A this time. 1.5W through the #T1 into a 41ft 9:1 w/ 17ft CP and 17ft RG316. Added AK to my hunter log which I needed, and it was a P2P. Great morning all around!

@KC8JC yup, I always get the jitters before doing voice but #POTA seems to sort of make it easier to jump right in!

My first #POTA logs are in the books!

I may have only had 12 QSOs but I had enough to make the activation worth it.

#hamrs worked for the most part, but glitched a few times, thankfully I had paper logs as a backup!

I learned quite a bit and I am looking forward to my next activation!

Got another really great SSB #POTA activation this evening, this time mostly on 15 m using a 40 m dipole. Lots of wonderful and chatty QSOs all up and down the Rocky Mountain states. A cluster in north Texas and Florida, and two very lovely chatty contacts across the pond in Ireland and Scotland. Lots of QSB and static crashes, but otherwise great signal reports and amazing propagation all with my power meter topping out at 17.5 W max.

Doing #POTA on 21.314, tho band is up and down and might switch.
