So the jersey I won in the #PotofGoldNight auction came in! It’s definitely a game-worn jersey quality, because it has the fight strap…also, all the letters & numbers are sewn on, not ironed-on

The player is Zach Tsekos, who’s been mostly with #UtahGrizzlies, only 6 games with the #ColoradoEagles

So the #ColoradoEagles donated $3,500 (per their announcement before puck drop), and the event ended-up raising $120,400!

Keep in mind, this was ONE night, and an #ahl team, not exactly a huge fan base. Just blown away with how much the community stepped-up, and really glad to play a part in it.

Here's a story that restored my faith in humanity.

Tonight was #PotofGoldNight for the #ColoradoEagles, where they fund-raise for a local family in need. Tonight, they did it for a family dealing with #GM1, #Gangliosidosis, which causes seizures, vision loss, and other neurological issues.

They had an auction for ltd-run jerseys with an irish motif, and I really liked the design. I ended-up winning one, and working out shipping arrangements. I'll post pics when it arrives.
