I have always been intrigued by how cities change with time. Here we have pictures bearing the German name of #Pressburg or the Hungarian #Pozsony.

Time capsules like these complicate identity. The victors rename your home, and it takes into account nothing of the people who called this home. Or does it? The lines on the map are, at times, a recent addition.

I took photos, if for nothing else, to remind me that history is fascinating and perplexing. #bratislava #slovakia
