"Gento" is a play on the Tagalog words for gold (ginto) and like this (ganito). TBH I wasn't a super big fan of the song at first and I thought that the M/V was a little goofy but it grew on me. The scene where everyone loses their eyebrows strikes me as extremely Filipino lmao. #Sb19 #ppop #ph

For the folks not aware of #SB19, they're the Philippines' biggest boy band. I'd say they have a level of versatility that's close to BTS since they have a great rap line AND great vocals. Their live vocal performances on the Wish Bus are insanely good.

They started the #ppop movement, which is Filipino pop that is partly informed by #kpop with the emphasis on high budget M/Vs, choreography, photocards, etc.
