Aside from some touch-ups and an obvious base in need of texturing, I'm considering this Kataphron table-ready.

The sheer amount of details in the sculpt was fun as hell to paint, but also frustrating as I kept discovering little bits that needed addressing every time I thought I was done. 😆

The hardest (or at least most time consuming) part of painting miniatures for any wargame, is establishing the template scheme for each unit type.

Today's hobby work has pretty much been doing just that - focusing on a Sydonian Dragoon so that I can have a prototype to reference for my many many future Ironstriders.

Adeptus Mechanicus Serberys Raider

One of my absolute favorite models in the AdMech line (quite possibly in all of 40k!) is the Serberys Raider. The sculpt and concept really drive home the vibe of desertpunk aesthetic in a martian wasteland that drew me to AdMech in the first place. While not shown here, the muted grey and silver go extremely well with Mars colored basing.
