God of grace,
in Jesus Christ,
you have truly and fully saved us.
Yet our loves are disordered,
our imaginations still stunted.
We are still captivated by sin,
lured by its tawdry promises.
Forgive us, Lord;
clear our conscience,
and help us to live in all the freedom
you have purchased for us.
