I have some Sound Devices MM-1s. Theoretically, would they sound better in front of an old zoom f8n or in front of a 744t OR would it make no difference, soundwise, because I am using the MM1 pre’s? I know of the differences between these recorders, but , in using them as strictly line in bitbuckets, would there be a difference in sound? Curious.

Hello!

Forgive my ignorance. I feel like I've only seen pictures of the Mesa Studio Pre. That may be because I don't know when I'm looking at a Studio Preamp 22. Does anyone have pictures of the Mesa Studio Pre 22? Does the '22' say 22 on the unit?

What are the differences between the two? Are the Studio 22 and 22 Plus combo amps?

Does anyone know of any guides to hooking up either of these to a power amp?

Any help satisfying my curiosity would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
