These results (higher in higher activity areas; onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10) have a direct application in : selecting from populations with high fire activity would increase the capacity of the restored woodland to face the increasing fire frequency. This may be more relevant than collecting seeds in typical high quality seed sites
