Funny story

I developed #TMJ pain shortly after I started to wear #eyeglasses for #presbyopia

It took me many years to associate the two. You won't believe what it was.

I read books on my mobile device at night before I go to bed, I lie on my right side and would prop myself on the pillow at my jaw because sandwiching the glasses between my skull and pillow hurt my ear.

The day I stopped doing that was the last day I had any TMJ issues 💀

@RL_Dane @NicoleCRust No. There is no known behavioural intervention to remediate #presbyopia. And don't avoid reading glasses: It will not change the time course of the lens stiffening but make you just miserable :).

Mastodon web client is very nice on the phone. More fully featured than the Tusky android app. E.g. can search for a hashtag then follow it.

Ribbon on the side is handy.

Main difference is don't size. Bigger defaults on the app. #presbyopia

I've been getting age vision for some time now and some video games have gotten HARD. I just sometimes can't see the cursor from the action at all. But I found this software called YoloMouse that replaces the cursor with something way easier to see.

You can also customize the different types of cursors, for example if it changes from hand to sword in combat, you can change both. And it goes BIG on a seamless slider.
