This is a cottage similar to what the parents of President Andrew Jackson lived in before they emigrated to America. The cottage in the picture is a museum the actual site of the Jackson family is a few metres away. The museum focuses on their lives before they left the Ulster Scots hamlet Boneybefore. The site also hosted American ww2 soldiers when they were stationed here. #presidentjackson #ulsterscots #USA
