I have seen President Kennedy's moon speech (September 12, 1962 in Rice Stadium) many times, however one thing has always puzzled me. To quote:

"We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things not because they are easy, but because they are hard."

Q) What are "the other things" ?

I just realised it is the 59th anniversary of the shooting of President J.F.K. This was an absolutely terrible crime. The killer (s) were never caught. J.F.K found a solution to the Cuban blockade incident of 1962, and thankfully saved the world. I guess the good news is we didn’t get Nixon for almost 10 years.
