Ultimately, #PrettySoldierSailorMoon deals with the problem of choice between death and life full of uncertainty and pain, and man, I seriously admire Takeuchi for publishing this brutal shit in a middle grade magazine.

Much as I like #PuellaMagiMadokaMagica, I also think #PrettySoldierSailorMoon (the #manga; my tag for the upcoming #anime is #SailorMoonCosmos) does existential horror really well, particularly in the final arc.
