@monatemchin The Brazilian judiciary is obviously well aware, that swift prosecution & accountability supports the credibility & authority of the Rule of Law, besides preempting the commission of further criminal offenses early on.
Taking more that 2 years time to build cases, while the leading suspects/offenders are still walking free & attacking the authority of the United States, its Rule of Law & its democratic constitutional order is certainly not that convincingly proving federal government's strength — as hoped for by the insurrectionists.

@TeaPain In other parts of the world the inciters of insurrection/overthrow would've been taken into preventive custody no later than 24 hours after the crime had been committed.
Especially, when the crime was openly broadcast for all the world to witness.
AG Garland, isn't it time yet to checkmate the Jan 6 ringleaders?
