KKR owning OverDrive — the dominant ebook distributor for public libraries and a growing force in school libraries — potentially acquiring Simon & Schuster should raise eyebrows the same way PRH did (and HarperCollins will), but it probably won't because no one takes libraries seriously unless they want free marketing or a scapegoat for declining sales. 🤷
