All the birbs I've been doing recently, in various stages of completion! I really wanted to make a pride flag series for #PrideMakeAlong and then I... didn't finish in time... I'm not even done yet... but that's cool! I will do it at my own pace!
Can you tell all the flags I've managed so far? And the very obvious one that's not done yet?

Wanted to try something new this summer, and so I got a beginner #embroidery kit. I’ve done knitting, crochet, and cross-stitch, but had never attempted embroidery before. The rainbow kit spoke to me for June, so it also works well for #PrideMakeAlong which I didn’t know about when I started! It’s about 3/4 of the way done…hoping to get this sampler done by the 30th.
I’m learning a lot.

Oh - this one is not all rainbow , but half of it is and I love the shawl and pattern.

A large part of my #PrideMakealong is going to be spinning and processing this bi-colored roving into useable yarn. I just acquired a spinning wheel for the first time and this is also 20 year old Very Sticky (with dye and lanolin) roving.

It's #PrideMakeAlong! The week's theme is flags, and I do have a thing about pride shawls... I finished this one last month, it's cotton and is perfect for mornings at my desk, when it's a little cooler.

66 followers · 1530 posts · Server wandering.shopI wasn't going to do anything for #PrideMakealong, but then I realized that I had a (planned, materials acquired, swatched, but not started) knitting project that used Kauni Effektgarn EQ.
So I cast it on! The fabric is currently a small wobbly tangle with no visible rainbow behavior, but I think it will look lovely once I get enough of it worked that it settles down and the yarn colors start shifting.
