TV confession: I've just turned on #PrimeTV NZ part way through a 12 hour programme! #GoSouth is a train trip through Aotearoa from Auckland to the far south. Mostly landscape but sometimes too much train. Almost meditative.Sound is minimal - a slow chug of the diesel train.🛤️ 🚆 🏞️ and ⬛ of Otira tunnel which is 8.5km long.

Watching The Rig and no matter how it may turn out, it really gets the weird fiction feeling of events beyond our comprehension absolutely right. Similar tone to things like True Detective or The Terror, where humanity struggles in the face of an impassive and indifferent universe and finds itself wanting.

I started watching cold case on #PrimeTV and I had to stop at season six because I couldn't understand what lily was saying with the plastic surgery she had had.
I wish women could grow old gracefully and see the beauty within ageing naturally.

I remember looking at my subscription TV package (#skytv) some years ago thinking that I was paying far too much money for what I was getting. I felt like I was paying for loads of stuff that I just didn’t need or want.

I moved house so started fresh and got rid of all paid TV and just went with freeview TV (freeSAT) and #BitTorrent, lots of BitTorrent.
