The good old fashioned florist's #primulas have changed a bit since I used to buy them back in the 1980's from our local market stall. The intricacies and #colours look more like an impressionist painting than a flower nowadays.

Either way, I can never keep the preened and cosseted things from one year to the next. They sometimes die quicker.

Too much water and they rot. Too little water and they dessicate like a dead sea scroll infront of your eyes.

They work out as very expensive #annuals.
