Another great find from my travels.
Hands down my favorite Primus album!
I have great memories attached to Primus. I saw them live a BUNCH of times in the #90s with BOTH drummers. The first six Primus albums left a wonderful mark on me, but Pork Soda is a different deal.
It was a very dark & stormy period of my life, soundtracked by a very dark, stormy, wonderfully weird album.

So far this has been a great year for me music listening wise. I have discovered some really great music that's entirely new to me.

These last couple of days I've been listening to Frizzle Fry by Primus. The music on this album is right up my alley. The vocals were a bit weird on the first listen, but they are captivating the more I listen. How have I not heard of Primus before?

#Listening to Primus play Tommy the Cat live, from the Rhinoplasty EP.

It never ceases to amaze me how Les Claypool plays that unbelievably fast and furious baseline, while at the same time spitting off spoken word whimsy a mile-a-minute. He must have such a focus on the present moment that it would make the Buddha himself look sloppy and easily distracted by comparison!

In 1986 doet hij auditie bij #metalica en speelt Master Of Puppets, hij kreeg als antwoord niet geschikt te zijn omdat hij te goed is.
Goddank anders hadden we de meest schitterende nummers van Primus nooit gekend.
Naast primus is hij ook lid van diverse supergroepen en projecten, zoals #Oysterhead met #StewartCopeland en zijn eigen
