Since a couple days ago the download page on principia-web has been updated, a #Principia 1.5.2 beta build is now available for Windows. Android coming soon whenever I can be bothered to fix some breaking issues left with it.

Two days ago leaderboards were implemented onto principia-web, allowing you to submit your score for score-based #Principia levels.

How about trying my Pinball level and see how high of a score you can get?

In other news, a roadmap for the first open source release of #Principia has been made, which will be 1.5.2. (https://github.com/Bithack/principia/issues/64)

Also expect beta Windows and Android builds to be released onto principia-web sometime during the next days (when I get around to fixing some Android UI regressions & such).

1.5.2 will be available on Linux and Windows, it will be republished onto Google Play by Bithack and also be available on F-Droid. Maybe a Steam release too, potentially.

Ever since cURL was updated #Principia has not been able to access the official community site archive, as it does not support HTTPS.

So I took things into my own hands and set up a reverse proxy that makes it more easily accessible (and also ported over the principia-web dark theme ^^), at https://archive.principia-web.se/.

It contains about half a decade of content, including but not limited to robot adventures, cool vehicles and machines, fun Lua stuff, minigames, community drama...

You ever had a moment where your previous assumptions are completely wrong and your life becomes a lie...

I figured out while rewriting the level upload code that the #Principia client doesn't actually set the "Community ID" value in the level metadata when uploading to the community site, the server needs to do so.

So when downloading the level again for editing the level has literally no indication of what community level it is linked to. That explains all the double uploads... >_<

I really should be more active here...

I've been so busy working on #Principia-related things for so long that I've forgotten to actually play the game. So behold, crappy pinball game made in fifteen minutes yesterday. Maybe I'll continue working on it and upload it, always liked these pinball levels back in the day.

This image taken by me moments after Principia was made buildable on Linux again would have been the first time someone outside of Bithack ran the native Linux version of the game.
