To me, a #principle is a recommendation of a default #behavior in specific #situations: rather do A than B. When you never run into that situation, you don't need such a guiding line. But when you do, it's invaluable.

Do you have a #tinfoil hat?" and "It's only Y information, don't worry about it" and "Their #privacy #policy says they only do A, B, and C with it, it's fine".
People do not need a #reason to want their #information not to be #collected and #used by others. Especially not one you agree with.
Let's #normalize this #principle.

The fact that 50, 500, 5000 people sign a petition does not mean that the action demanded by the petition is #just, or #ethical, or #desirable in a #democracy.

1. The government of Florida banning the speech of someone it doesn't like is bad.
2. The government of Canada banning the speech of someone it doesn't like is good.
If you can articulate a reason that is both logically and ethically coherent, which explains this apparent contradiction without resolving to discrimination based on viewpoint, I would be fascinated to read it.

We were bought with the blood of Jesus, having been slaves to sin, we are now slaves to God (Rom 6:22). But what if I told you God doesn’t want us to be slaves forever? While being a slave to God is necessary, it is not eternal and doesn’t include the inheritance God wants to give us (Jn 8:35).
When a son comes to the age of maturity (30, when Jesus began His ministry) the Fathers business is passed down to the son. While it’s not about a literal number, it does capture a spiritual principle of growing in our faith, into a place of stewardship so that the Lord can pass down the inheritance.
