I love it when a conceptual #3dPrinting design works first time. Modular game-board frame for a very old copy of (The #Setters of) #Catan, before they switched to putting harbors on a cardboard frame.
You can *just* fit 2 pieces on a #Prusa mk3s+ bed!

I am trying to print this file, on #Printables

And a few cm from the top it starts adding bridge infill, solid infill, extra perimeters, or other changes that negatively impact the print quality as the angle of the lines shift slightly.

I wish I could just turn these features off, or change the extrusion multiplier over time.

I'm not sure what else to try to improve print quality.

So this happened yesterday. Crossed 6,000 downloads of my designs on #printables #printsblescom. I really need to finish some new designs. I’ve been playing in CAD quite a bit lately.

I don’t completely agree with #printables rankings, where to get a lvl 6 maker one has to print 50 models, snap a photo and upload it, while to become a lvl 6 designer one has to design (and in my case test, take photos, write descriptions of) 100 models…

Very fun days for me.

I've only been on #Printables for a short time. But seeing how quickly others print out your designs is deeply touching. So much commitment and joy. Very motivating. Who would have thought that a whistle can give so much joy.

And I really have to say that Printables is by far the best platform for me in terms of GUI and UX.
