I watched the recent #QueerEye episode where they helped a woman who was incarcerated for 12 years. I cried from start to finish. Mostly because the woman they were helping seemed to be such a lovely person, but also because it hurt to see someone have to rebuild their life after having 12 years robbed by our justice system. I hope this episode radicalizes some people into being a #prisonabolitionist

I don't know if #startrek #tng meant to have #Picard be #prisonabolitionist in #Allegiance but i like it! (Well if you ignore that he revenge imprisoned the aliens for a little bit. Arguably negligible though bc he sent them away?)

In watching these, I think the original and tng arent as progessive as i had heard people say, but it has moments here and there.
