Friends against the #DeathPenalty, won't you join me in writing a petition to Gov. Michael Parson of Miss. to stop the execution of Amber (warrant for Scott) McLaughlin? Her trial resulted in a hung jury. Because Missouri is one of two states where the judge can impose a death sentence despite a hung jury, she is scheduled to die on 3 Jan 2023. Gov. Parson is currently reviewing the case.
