Began my day at 5:45am with usual 200mg #Pristiq and commenced #Vyvanse 30mg. Oddly reassured by name of pharmaceutical company, #Takeda. Thank you interest in Japanese history for this irrational positive bias.
I followed this with my standard breakfast of 1 double shot flat white on BonSoy, muesli with fresh apple and BonSoy, then another double shot flat white on BonSoy.
No notable interaction between #SNRI and stimulant medications so far but slightly bitter taste in my mouth; a quick interweb search tells me this is not uncommon for Vyvanse.

12 years of #Pristiq at 200mg/day will - after recent review and evaluation - be augmented with #Vyvanse from tomorrow, starting at 30mg/day.
Adult diagnoses for Aspergerβs (2010) and #ADHD is curious, if not bittersweet β¦ if only for teenage or adolescent diagnosis. If only for early treatment and therapy; the family of origin is what it is and so it was not to be.
Will this new pharmacological scaffolding around my brain be effective? How will it interact with the #SNRI I currently take? Time will tell I guess; I hope to no longer misplace quite so much of it.
I have 8 tabs open on my #Pristiq dose prediction hunch, meanwhile I had a mild psychedelic experience with it. I increased the dose ~1 week ago per my doc. Started having norepinephrine-related side effects (no appetite, sweating) three days in. Yesterday I had some THC+CBD, ate some soup and immediately had strangely detached nausea, then my brain kinda timecubed out for 5 minutes. Altered senses, undulating surfaces, sense of "nowness," etc. This is a phenethylamine.
Oho, there's a proprietary genetic test which predicts #desvenlafaxine (#Pristiq) dose quite well in an early study! Let's see if I can replicate it with 23andme raw data. I'd be doing a lot more stuff like this if I were less depressed... off to sci-hub! #diypsychiatry #diy

My #antidepressant (#desvenlafaxine aka #Pristiq) is a #phenethylamine. That's rare. It shares that skeleton with other big names like #MDMA, #mescaline, and #Sudafed.
It's a #SSNRI, blocks #serotonin reuptake 5-10x more strongly than #norepinephrine, and may increase #dopamine turnover in the prefrontal cortex.
It has some subjective aspects quite reminiscent of #phenethylamines I've tried.
