Durch den Umzug weg vom #Raspberry auf den #ThinClient habe ich etwa denselben Stromverbrauch, die Festplatte (#SSD) ist nicht mehr über USB angeschlossen und das Ganze sieht nicht mehr aus wie "Bastelplatine mit Kabelbinder an USB Platte getackert".

Ich habe jetzt statt #RaspberryPiOS ein "richtiges" x86-64 Linux, was die Softwareauswahl und Updates vereinfacht.

Brauch ich den Server? Nuja... Brauchen ist relativ. Aber ich habe meine eigene #privatecloud, die Familie kann... (2/3)

Für mich kommt seit Jahren nur noch die #privatecloud infrage 👍🏻 Es gibt so viele coolere Alternativen für jeden Clouddienst. Man muss nur mal schauen und (aus)wählen gehen… 🤓
