When you hire a #PI to conduct a #background check and the Subject has several names that can be rearranged, each permutation should be researched.
Databases (in general) and other filing systems are persnickety.
This consumes time, and your retainer, but is necessary.

Wanting to eventually qualify to be a #privatedetective, we kept our nose clean and lived a disciplined life so as to have a clean record and good reputation.
Public records found during a background check could have prevented entry into the career because there were standards.
That's why this is shocking to us.
There should be standards.
Some people will be disqualified from holding certain jobs, and that SHOULD be okay with EVERYONE.

Just told a member of the public:
PI's locate people.
Pricing is usually reasonable.
Police can only do so much.
Media can be more useful when given more information.
Most people don't know what they know until they've been expertly questioned.
They are still confused and reluctant to use the services of a #PrivateDetective agency. They don't believe it's common...
They're young.
Maybe we need a TV show about PI's or something?
