‘The entire #Sydney rail network went down this afternoon, causing transport chaos for millions. The cause was the failure of a digital communications system (the Digital Train Radio System).

I've seen comments online from someone claiming to work at #SydneyRail that responsibility for DTRS has recently been privatised by the #Coalition NSW state government under Premier #Perrottet.

I see Royal Mail are trying to drop Sat deliveries. I remember when we had 2 deliveries a day, 1st class meant 1st delivery next day, stamps cost nowt by today's standards, the postie wandered around whistling happily, emitting barely any greenhouse gases, depending on diet. It all worked. Until privatisation. They may as well scrap the whole thing. #PrivatisationFail
