Pretty confident the #labour leadership gamed out the consequences of the appointment before they made it and concluded it is a net win for them... having #toriesOut howling indignation about the #partyGate report reminds the casual observer all over again about the self-entitlement & defiance of his own rules the #vacuumOfIntegrity exhibited. That this comes out at the same time as the #privileges commitee report is not a concidence
