@NJDavidD I think that's a failing of the manufacturer that is not necessarily unique to the experience of the in-house integrator or customer.

I'm also biased and probably don't have the full picture. That said, there are so many ways around this besides the direct relationship.

Spend time to make the RFP better. Spend time to develop in-house standards for consistent and efficient deployments. Spend time with the end-user to better understand their needs and comfort levels with the tech.

There's an "influencer" in my industry who is also an anti-vaxxer, MAGA supporting, Musk fan boy.

It's not very hard to see this as he makes his politics known on his LinkedIn feed.

I'm not saying he's not entitled to his own opinions but it's rather disgusting how racist and xenophobic some of the posts are.

If you feel you're in a safe, or privileged, position, it's on us to call it out and just ask "Why?" Why should I follow your tech advice if I'm disgusted by your actions?
